With more than 13 years of experience in organizational, programmatic people and business development, I am a passionate leader and catalyst for change. A Little More About Rachel….

I have worked in and around the aging services field for over 15 years and hold a master's degree in gerontology. I began my career in not-for-profit fundraising, working with organizations like the Alzheimer's Association and Washington University, successfully growing revenue through philanthropy and building strategic partnerships to extend organizational reach and enhance brand visibility. 

Later, I held several leadership roles in both the not-for-profit and for-profit sectors, where I oversaw organizational strategic planning, charitable giving, and marketing and sales teams and initiatives to meet short- and long-term goals. Today, I am fortunate to partner with an outstanding group of leaders focused on building software solutions for senior living providers and serve as a growth coach and founder of Crux Coaching.

  • Developed several nationally recognized fundraising and marketing programs for mass-market event fundraising. 
  • Created multiple community-based programs focused on fundraising and social accountability.
  • Raised more than 20 million dollars in gifts to forward the missions for organizations I have served.
  • Presented at multiple state and national conferences, including LeadingAge and the National Alzheimer’s Association Leadership Summit, on strategic planning, marketing, fundraising and people development. 
  • Led a variety of strategic planning and executive team retreats for for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.
  • Developed customized in-house leadership academy and mentorship programs to foster successful onboarding and professional development for employees of a start-up technology company.
